Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I get my house windows cleaned?

Most residential clients require their windows cleaned every month. However, this can vary depending on many factors, such as traffic film and local conditions such as salt in the air.

How much does window cleaning cost?

The cost for window cleaning small properties generally starts from around £10.  However, it depends on the quantity of windows and the difficulty of access. Given that few jobs are the same, our window cleaners are prepared to visit the job in person to give you a free, no-obligation, competitive quote.

If the job is simple to explain, please provide details on the ‘Contact Us‘ page and we can often give you the price straight away. Emailing photos will help too! For other jobs, we are happy to pay a visit in person to provide you the quote.

How do you accept payment?

You can pay the window cleaner when he comes to do the job either by Cash, Cheque, Bank Transfer or Paypal.

Can you give me a tax invoice?

Of course! All our customers get a cleaning invoice detailing the work carried out and with payment details on the sheet.

What type of window cleaning do you do?

We clean Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Government building windows – inside and out. We can access just about any windows from ground floor up to 5 storeys high, and gutters up to 3 storeys high.

What do you include in the "Window Cleaning Quote"?

Obviously, we clean the glass. We also wipe the frames, sills surrounds and doors. If there are little paint spots or hard marks, we will try to remove them. However, where there is a lot of scraping and after renovation grime to remove, there will be additional charges. Make sure to mention anything like that.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We can often carry out the job within the same week of your enquiry. If you’re in a rush, it may be possible to arrange to have the job done in the same visit as the quote. To speed things up, email us the address with a good description of the job and if possible, a few photos.

Do your staff have the necessary insurance cover?

Don’t worry, we are fully insured! We are happy to provide a copy of the certificates on request.

Can you prepare Safe Work Method Statements?

Yes. We can provide you with a SWMS once a job has been confirmed. Please let us know in advance if this will be required.

What else do you do besides window cleaning?

We also do pressure cleaning, softwashing, pvc cleaning and gutter cleaning. We do not do high-rise window cleaning or abseiling as of yet.

Do you clean after building work?

Of course! We understand that great care needs to be taken to avoid scratching the glass and this specialised type of window cleaning work is best left to the professionals!

What about water restrictions?

In carrying out our window and gutter cleaning services, we use common sense so as not to waste water. We carry our own water supply to your home.

Do you still come if it is raining?

We normally continue working if it is raining lightly. However, if we consider the weather dangerous for work, ie. stormy and wild winds, then we would re-schedule.

But doesn't rain make the windows dirty?

No. The three main reasons windows become dirty are:

Pollen & Dust

Insect droppings

Finger prints

Why do you leave some windows wet?

We use 100 % pure, filtered water which leaves no mineral or sediment on your glass which results in a streak-free finish.

The water evaporates off the glass leaving no marks.

What areas do you work in?

Our expert cleaning services are available across Belfast & Lisburn including the areas of Malone Road, Four Winds, Knockbreada, Lisburn, Stranmillis, Antrim Road, Glengormley, Glen Road, Lambeg and Moira.
